The National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) and Turkish Eximbank (Export-Import Bank of Turkey) signed a basic $250 million loan agreement on May 2, the press service of the NBU stated.
According to the statement, the agreement provides for loans to finance investment projects with participation of Turkish suppliers and contractors.
The projects will be financed upon requests from the Uzbek side, without concluding separate loan agreements.
It was reported earlier that the Uzbek Asaka bank and Turkish Eximbank (Export-Import Bank of Turkey) signed a $24 million loan agreement.
