NBU Investment (structural subdivision of the National Bank of Uzbekistan) together with investors-initiators is implementing five projects on the basis of the Tashkent Toy Factory in the Almazar district of the capital of Uzbekistan, the press service of the president of Uzbekistan said referring to the visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the factory.
Toys City, O’yinchoqlar Fabrikasi, Funny Kids World, National Products and United Nation Company and other enterprises that are to be established on the basis of the factory will produce clothes, various items for children and toys. More than 920 jobs will be created in total.
According to the information, Toys City has already begun operation. It produces some 70 types of products. The president of Uzbekistan got personally acquainted with the process of toy production.
A year ago Shavkat Mirziyoyev ordered to transfer the plant Tashigrushka at a book value on a no-cost basis to the National Bank of Uzbekistan on the economic management rights due to unsatisfactory condition of the main buildings, facilities and production lines of the plant and its long downtime.
