Young Uzbek entrepreneur, Temur Asadov, has signed an export agreement with China and Egypt, and is establishing exports of yarn and carpets made of silk to Turkey and other countries, "UzDaily.uz" reported.
Asadov has received a loan worth 800 million soums, from the commercial bank, with the support of the Navoi Regional Council of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan. He now has 40 people working for him.
"Our company has a processing capacity of 200 tons of cocoons, 40-45 tons of silk products. But we want to further expand our activities and create additional jobs. We have developed a 5-year plan for the development of the company. We will establish the production of yarn and the manufacture of carpets made of silk according to the plan. As a result, 70-80 more jobs will be created for young people," Asadov said.
