An additional bunker will be constructed in the territory of the fodder plant, built in Azerbaijan’s Yalama agricultural park until the end of 2018, director of the Yalama agricultural park Zaur Aliyev told Trend Aug. 6.

“This will increase the export capabilities of this plant,” he said.

"The fodder plant operating on the territory of the Yalama agricultural park is currently engaged in the production of 13 types of feeds and is intended to meet the needs of livestock farms in the country," Aliyev said. “As the plant is profitable, the production volumes are expected to increase by the end of this year."

The establishment of agricultural parks was launched in the country in accordance with the instruction of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to accelerate the development of the non-oil sector and the use of intensive technologies in the manufacturing sector.

The establishment of agricultural parks plays an important role in the expansion of the export of non-oil products to foreign markets, the creation of national brands, the formation of a coordinated unified system in the field of agriculture, as well as the producer-processor-consumer relations, the training of qualified personnel in the agricultural sector and the creation of new jobs.
