Uzbekistan, Tajikistan to jointly manufacture heavy machinery

Uzbek company Krantas and Tajik Aluminum Company (TALCO) will jointly produce heavy equipment, the press service of the Uzbek president announced referring to presentation of the project held as part of the visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to TALCO.

TALCO-Krantas is already operating in Tajikistan and will produce cranes, tractor trailers, semi-trailers and other types of machinery from now on.

The TALCO plant, built in 1975, was transformed into the Tajik Aluminum Company, a state unitary enterprise, in 2007. Today, TALCO unites enterprises of mining, chemical and metallurgical industries.
