The average US dollar rate in the morning session of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on Oct. 12 amounted to 369.54 tenge, Kazakh media reported.
Thus, the national currency of Kazakhstan has strengthened by 2.83 tenge against the US dollar compared to the morning session of yesterday (372.37 tenge per US dollar).
According to KASE, at the auction of the US dollar in the morning session, the minimum rate was 368.50 tenge per US dollar and the maximum rate was 370 tenge, while the closing rate was 369.50 tenge per US dollar.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday at KASE, the average US dollar rate in the morning session was 372.37 tenge, in the afternoon session - 371.54 tenge, and in the end of both sessions - 372 tenge.
Meanwhile, the official rate by the National Bank of Kazakhstan on Oct. 12 is 372 tenge per US dollar. In the exchange offices of Astana and Almaty, the maximum selling rate of the US currency is also 372 tenge.
