In September 2018, 83 companies with Russian capital were registered in Turkey, which is by 15 companies more compared to the same month in 2017, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend Oct. 23.
At the same time, the total capital of Russian companies registered in September amounted to 4.5 million Turkish liras, while in September 2017 it was 2.9 million Turkish liras.
In September, the number of companies registered in Turkey increased by 25.31 percent, and the number of the registered cooperatives increased by 20 percent.
In September 2018, 6,328 companies and 66 cooperatives were registered in Turkey, while 41.62 percent of the registered companies and cooperatives fell to the share of Istanbul city.
In January-September, 65,638 companies and cooperatives were registered in Turkey.
According to the data of TOBB, the number of closed companies in the first nine months of 2018 decreased by 8.64 percent, and the number of closed cooperatives - by 10.65 percent.
The official exchange rate for October 23 is 5.6582TL / USD.
