New sanctions of the US were predicted and the Central Bank of Iran is ready for even worse situation than these sanctions, said Abdolnasser Hemati, governor of Iran's Central Bank, IBENA news agency reported.
He said the necessary discussions were held with countries supporting trade with Iran.
“At the same time, considering the possibility of suspension of the SWIFT services, the Central Bank of Iran has outlined alternative mechanisms for banking exchange with countries supporting trade with Iran,” he said.
