In January-November 2018, Azerbaijan exported tomatoes worth $162.2 million, which is 13.6 percent more than in eleven months last year, according to the Export Review published by the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication, Trend reports.
Gold ($170.2 million, a 7.9 percent decrease) ranks second by value in the list of goods exported by Azerbaijan, while persimmon ($89.1 million, a 21.4 percent increase) ranks third.
In January-November this year, Azerbaijan also exported nuts worth $80.2 million (decrease by 23.4 percent), raw cotton worth $70.1 million (growth by 60.8 percent), polyethylene in primary form worth $68.6 million (growth by 3.2 percent), electric energy worth $65 million (growth by 36.6 percent), unprocessed aluminum worth $46.5 million (growth by 51.2 percent), sour cherry and cherry worth $38 million (growth by 38.9 percent) and other goods worth $804.8 million (growth by 3.8 percent).
Russia ranked first among importers of Azerbaijan’s non-oil products in January-November 2018. In the period, goods worth 555.4 million (10.3 percent growth) were exported to Russia, which is followed by Turkey (17.7 percent growth), Switzerland (decrease by 7.6 percent), Georgia (decrease by 2.7 percent) and Kazakhstan (a 29.4 percent growth).
