The Azerbaijani company Bollug LLC intends to expand the varieties of confectionery products this year, Trend reports with reference to head of the production department of the company, Bahaddin Tagiyev.
He noted that there are plans to expand the varieties of chocolate, waffles and other types of confectionery products this year.
“We are considering such possibility, given the demand for our products,” he said. “Unfortunately, there isn’t quite favorable situation in the confectionery market, and this leads to non-healthy competition. This is related to the fact that new manufacturers appear in this market and they manufacture products that don’t meet quality standards. As a rule, such products are made in workshops that don’t meet hygienic requirements. We believe that such facts negatively affect the quality of products manufactured and undermine the confidence of buyers in local products.”
He noted that the company’s products are sold in Baku, Ganja and in the Azerbaijani districts.
The company’s products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The company uses equipment made in Germany, Turkey and the US.
