Azerbaijan exported goods worth $1.3 billion in January 2019, which is 18.8 percent more than in January 2018, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee.
The share of the public sector in exports amounted to $1.1 billion, private sector to $186 million, individuals to $6.6 million.
During the period, Azerbaijan mostly exported oil and oil products, natural gas, cotton, fruits and vegetables.

Imports amounted to $1 billion during the period, which is 32.7 percent more than in January 2018.
The share of the public sector in imports amounted to $379.04 million, private sector to $589.5 million, individuals to $54.1 million.
The most popular products imported by Azerbaijan during the period were various machines, ferrous metals and products made from them, vehicles and spare parts for them, plastic and plastic products, wood and wooden products.
