The foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan amounted to $16,973.8 million in 2018, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan.
The trade surplus during this period amounted to $6.328 billion. Last year, the import of goods decreased by 47.8 percent compared to 2017.
Turkmenistan maintains foreign trade relations with 107 countries. The key trade partners in Turkmen exports include China, Italy, Afghanistan, Turkey and the UAE.
The main trade partners in Turkmen imports include Turkey, the UAE, China, Germany and Russia.
