The overall value of clothing output in Azerbaijan was 5.8 million manats in January-February 2019, which is 27.1 percent less compared to January-February 2018, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee.
The total output of Azerbaijan's yarn, shoes, clothes and leather production reached 74.9 million manats in January-February 2019 (growth of 36.2 percent over a year).

During the reported period, the retail turnover of spinning industry products, clothing and footwear amounted to 990.3 million manats, having increased by 3.1 percent over a year. In retail chains, consumers spend about 18 percent of their money on clothes and shoes.
Compared to January, in February, prices for clothes decreased by 0.1 percent, for fabrics they did not change, for shoes decreased by 0.1 percent. Over a year, prices for these products increased by 1 percent, 4.1 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively.
