In January-February 2019, the volume of construction materials production in Azerbaijan amounted to 80.3 million manats in aggregate terms, which is 12.8 percent more than the same period last year, Trend informs referring to a report by the State Statistical Committee.
According to the report, the highest growth, at 6.8 times, was recorded in the production of asphalt, followed by a 3.2 times increase in the production of building blocks and bricks from cement, artificial stone or concrete, a 74.2-percent increase in the production of building brick, and a 64,1-percent increase in the production of limestone.
The largest decrease was observed in the production of building plaster (at 59.9 percent) and precast concrete building structures (46.2 percent).
