Kazakhstan airlines company QAZAQ AIR is planning to transport over 420,000 passengers this year, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the company.

During the first six months of 2019, the company transported nearly 179,000 passengers, which is 16 percent more than in the same period of last year. The total number of passengers who used QAZAQ AIR’s services has exceeded 920,000 people.

“We plan to transport our millionth passenger before the end of September 2019,” said Atanassov Plamen, Member of the Board of Directors of QAZAQ AIR.

He further stated that based on the results of first six months of the year, the load factor of the company’s planes equaled to 75 percent.

“These results were achieved due to the optimization of the company’s routes network and the expansion of the aircraft list by adding two De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 planes,” Atanassov said.

According to him, the company’s future plans also include consistent relocation of the air fleet to the capital of the country, which will allow to carry out 24 direct and 55 docking flights.

Currently, the company operates flights in 13 internal and three international routes.
