Karachaganak Petroleum Operating to fund reconstruction project in Kazakhstan (Exclusive)

Social-entrepreneurial corporation Oral has been awarded a contract for reconstruction of a passenger terminal in ‘Oral’ international airport, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development told Trend.

Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. is to fund the project within the social and infrastructural projects in West Kazakhstan region. The cost of the project to be implemented in 2019-2020 is assessed to be 2.6 billion tenge.

Currently, after the issues of funding were resolved by the company, the feasibility study has been developed. The contractor for the project has been also selected.

On October 31, 2018, passenger terminal has been alienated in favor of social-entrepreneurial corporation Oral.
