The renovation of airport passenger terminals in five cities of Kazakhstan is planned within the framework of State program, said Darhan Sakanov, Deputy chairman of Roads Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.
The renovation is planned in Uralsk, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, Shymkent and Kostanay cities within the ‘Nurly Zhol’ program for 2020-2025.
Currently there are 17 operating airports in Kazakhstan. Each one of them is provided with necessary infrastructure for passing of people, cargo and goods. These airports are international and have allowance for implementing international flights.
‘Nurly Zhol’ program for 2020-2025 is a State program of infrastructural development of Kazakhstan. The concept of the program was first presented by Roman Sklyar, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development on April 8, 2019.
