Azerbaijan’s Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC has revised the proposal for participation in the project to reconstruct the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, leading specialist of the company Rauf Azizov told Trend.
According to him, the company will be partially involved in this project.
“Earlier it was assumed that Akkord would install metal structures at the enterprise and carry out installation work. As of now, the company has changed its plans on participation in this project and intends to limit itself to painting work only. The company will complete only this part of the works in the refinery, within the deadlines set as part of the refinery’s reconstruction project," Azizov said.
He went on to say that the company will also not be participating in the implementation of the project of the hotel being constructed on the territory of Baku Boulevard.
According to Azizov, the change in plans is linked to the company’s internal matters.
Akkord has taken an active part in the construction of road infrastructure in Galaba Square near the Ganjlik metro station in Baku and at the intersections of adjacent streets, designed by the Singaporean company Surbana International Consultants Pte. Ltd.
Presently, Akkord holds the leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, in the construction of residential houses and other public buildings, as well as in the production of building materials.
