Share price of two Georgian companies rises on London Stock Exchange

Over the past seven days, the value of the shares of Bank of Georgia and the Georgia Healthcare Group on the London Stock Exchange increased by 3.09 percent and 2.27 percent, respectively, and now stands at 13.69 and 2.27 pounds, Trend reports citing the website of the stock exchange.

Meanwhile, the price of Georgia Capital Bank's shares fell by 0.39 percent, and the price of TBC Bank shares fell by 1.85 percent.

The London Stock Exchange has sold more than 180,000 shares of Bank of Georgia worth 2.4 million pounds.

Most of Georgia Capital’s 439,000 shares were sold for 4.5 million pounds. The value of the transaction with Georgia Healthcare Group securities amounted to 97,000 pounds. As for TBC Bank, its 206,000 shares were sold for 2.6 million pounds.

The value of Georgia Capital’s securities amounts to 10.26 million pounds and TBC Bank’s - to 12.76 million pounds. In terms of the value of the entities in punds, the Bank of Georgia is estimated at 673 million, Georgia Capital - at 376 million, Georgia Healthcare Group - at 298 million, and TBC Bank - at 701 million.
