Price of low-speed Internet service in Tbilisi reaches 22 lari (Exclusive)

The cost of the low-speed Internet service of Akhali Kselebi company (2 MB/s, DSL technology) in Tbilisi is 22 lari, and in Gori, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Terjola and Poti - 14 lari, Georgian National Communications Commission told Trend.

As reported, Silknet Company in Tbilisi and other regions supplies customers with Internet speed of 3 MB/s for 24 lari, and in Rustavi for 20 lari. In Rustavi, the Georgian Central Communications Corporation (CGC) set a tariff of 22 lari for an Internet connection of 3 MB/s.

According to the Commission, the cost of optical Internet at 10 Mbps in MagtiCom is 27 lari (throughout Georgia), in Silknet - 26 lari (throughout Georgia), and in Akhali Kselebi - 20 lari (in Gori, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Terjola, Kutaisi, Caspi, Ksani, Rustavi and Poti).

“The cost of optical Internet at 20 MB/s in MagtiCom is 30 lari (throughout Georgia), in Silknet - 35 lari (throughout Georgia), in Akhali Kselebi and Akhteli - 25 lari (Tbilisi),” said the National Communications Commission of Georgia.

The commission noted that the cost of optical Internet at 30 Mbps at MagtiCom Company is 37 lari (throughout Georgia), at CGC - 39 lari (Rustavi).

MagtiCom supplies Internet at a speed of 50 Mbps for 50 lari (throughout Georgia), Silknet for 50 lari (throughout Georgia), CGC for 49 lari for (Rustavi), Akhali Kselebi and Akhtel for 50 lari (Tbilisi).

According to the commission, for 100 Mbps Internet access, MagtiCom charges 100 lari (throughout Georgia), Silknet - 100 lari (throughout Georgia), Akhali Kselebi and Akhteli - 100 lari (Tbilisi).
