In the upcoming four months, conditions for exporting goods will be created at the Dezful Airport of Iran's Khuzestan province, Deputy Governor of Khuzestan Nurullah Hasanzade said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Thus, Iranian businessmen will have opportunities to export their goods from the airport of the Dezful county in Khuzestan province, Hazanzade said.

He noted that roughly 800,000 tons of agricultural goods are produced in Khuzestan's north every year.

Exports of agricultural goods can be increased with organizing exports via this airport, he said.

The deputy governor stressed that air transportation is the best for exports.

He added that the agricultural goods produced in Khuzestan can be exported to colder countries, including Russia.

Exports of the agricultural goods of the province may play a major role in increasing Iranian exports and bringing foreign currency to the country, he said.

According to Khuzestan Customs Administration, in the first five months (March 21, 2019 - August 22, 2019) of the current Iranian year, Iran's non-oil exports via the Khuzestan province amounted to $4.5 billion in monetary terms and exports of goods increased by 75 percent in terms of value, compared to the same period of the last Iranian year.
