Russian international lighting corporation BOOS LIGHTING GROUP (BL GROUP) plans to open a design bureau in Uzbekistan to develop comprehensive design, technical and technological solutions in the field of lighting for various purposes in the country, a company representative told Trend in an interview.
The representative noted that at the initial stage qualified Russian employees will be sent to work at BL GROUP enterprises in Uzbekistan, and further training of Uzbek specialists will be carried out on the basis of BL GROUP enterprises and the Lighting Engineering department of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (under the bachelor / master program /graduate student).
According to the official, BOOS LIGHTING GROUP also plans to create in Uzbekistan the production of energy-efficient lighting equipment and its control systems.
“This will allow not only to modernize the city, road and housing infrastructure using modern, high-quality lighting equipment, provide this equipment with timely service, but also solve the problem of reducing energy consumption in the field of lighting. This is the task that the regional authorities are now setting in view of limited energy resources and preserving the environment in Uzbekistan,” the representative said.
The official added that the corporation, therefore, plans to create at least 2,000 new jobs in Uzbekistan and help solve social problems.
