Investment projects worth over $140M to be launched in Kazakhstan's Shymkent(Exclusive)

Five projects worth over $140 million of investments will be implemented in Kazakhstan’s Shymkent city with participation of foreign investors before the end of 2021, the press office of city’s akimat (administrative center) told Trend.

According to the source in the ministry, the first project covers the construction of the Happyland amusement park. The cost of the project’s implementation is $67.7 million and the investor is a billionaire from Nepal Binod Chaudhary.

The second investment project oversees the construction of a solar plant the capacity of which will be 50 MW. The project worth $20 million of investments is being implemented by Avelar Solar Technology, which is a subsidiary of Russia’s Hevel Group.

The third project consists of construction of education cluster, i.e. kindergarten, school, college and university. The investor is the Singapore’s Kinder World International and the value of investment is $20 million.

The fourth project deals with construction of solar park the capacity of which is 30 MW, and belongs to Green Energy 3000 GmbH company. Total value of investments is $33.3 million.

The fifth project with participation of foreign investor is being implemented by Dentafill Kazakhstan LLP. The project oversees the construction of a plant for manufacturing of medicine and hygiene products and the value of investments is $2.6 million.
