Azerbaijan and China are considering an opportunity of creating joint ventures in the near future, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev told reporters on Sept. 20.
Mustafayev made the remarks as part of the Azerbaijani-Chinese business forum in Baku, Trend reports.
The minister stressed that the issue is the creation of a plant for the production of tractors, various types of agricultural machinery, as well as plants for processing agricultural products.
"The investments worth $100 million will be made in the implementation of these large-scale projects, which will contribute to the creation of several thousand job places," he said.
Mustafayev stressed that Azerbaijan plans to increase investments in the implementation of projects in the industry, the agricultural sector, as well as in the implementation of infrastructure projects.
