Azerbaijan’s biggest winery Jalilabad-2, located in the Jalilabad district, has increased the production of alcoholic beverages, Vidadi Valiyev, the chief technologist of the company, told Trend.
He said that during the harvest season this year, over 2,000 tons of grapes were harvested from vineyards with an area of 350 hectares belonging to the company.
“Up to 160,000 deciliters of wine were produced from these volumes during the refining process at the plant, which is 15 percent more than last year,” Valiyev added.
The chief technologist noted that the plant produces over 12 types of alcoholic beverages, as well as cognac spirit.
The plant’s products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The company uses Italian and Bulgarian equipment.
