The leadership of Kazakhstan's Ural Transformer Plant LLP is further looking into the possibility of using automated equipment in manufacturing, which will decrease loses and the labor intensity of the manufacturing processes, the representative of the company told Trend.
“Currently the construction of a new workshop for manufacturing of panel radiators has started on the territory of the plant. This project oversees the procurement of automated machine for radiator manufacturing. This means that in order to manufacture a radiator only a major automated line is necessary,” the representative said.
The plant has been launched within the framework of the Industrialization Roadmap, which in turn is giving special attention to digitalization of new ventures.
“Talking about the digitalization of the plant, currently we are managing the venture with the help of 1С 8.3 Venture Management program and overall we are assessing it quite positively,” the company's official said.
Thus, according to the information provided, the benefits of this programs are the minimization of the loses of time during the routine operations and optimization of business processes. This program allows to prepare a lot of reports in a matter of seconds, to hold integration of all areas of manufacturing between each other, to keep stock records and so on.
“All these functions allow to avoid mistakes of human nature when implementing various operations. The automated machinery of leading European companies is being used in the manufacturing, which only needs one operator to manage the entire process,” the representative said.
According to him, future plans of the company include development of automation and digitalization both of documentation and of manufacturing.
“The Japanese Kaizen system has also been implemented at the plant. Kaizen allows to decrease the loses related topoor workspace management. An example for us was the Toyota corporation, which our employees have visited with an idea of expertise exchange,” the official said.
In the future Ural Transformer Plant LLP is also planning to switch from 1С 8.3 program to 1С ERP Venture Management.
“The new program will allow to monitor the movement of goods in automatic mode starting from the moment it was manufactured or imported till it reaches its purchaser,” the representative concluded.
