Uzbekistan, Belarus agree on co-op in ICT

Leadership of the E-Government and the Digital Economy Project Management Center under the National Agency for Project Management under the President of Uzbekistan and the leadership of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “National Center for Electronic Services” of Belarus have signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding, Trend reports on with reference to the Uzbek media.
The signing took place as part of the meeting held Sept. 24, 2019 at the National Agency for Project Management under the President of Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged experience in the development of e-government in Uzbekistan and Belarus and discussed possible prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of information and communication technologies, interaction in the development of recommendations, exchange of knowledge and innovative solutions.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies. The document also aims at holding forums, round table meetings and seminars, joint consultations; at creation, implementation, development and maintenance of e-government information systems; and exchange of information and experience in building business processes.
