Japanese Kuraray Co. Ltd company, which deals with production of chemicals and fibers, has expressed interest in organizing production of new types of fibers in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
During the meeting of the delegation of the "Uztextile" Association headed by Deputy Chairman Bakhtier Muhammadsaidov with representatives of Kuraray in the Japanese city of Osaka on October 1, the Uzbek side presented information on the potential of the textile industry in Uzbekistan.
The Japanese side expressed interest in organizing production of new types of fibers, followed by exporting products to the European and American markets.
The visit of the company's technical group to Uzbekistan is expected in the third decade of October this year.
The delegation of the Uztextile Association visited Japan as part of the official delegation of Uzbekistan from October 1-5, 2019.
