Many experts asses Kazakhstan’s modern economic model as quite successful, a representative of Kazakhstan's Ministry of National Economy told Trend.
“Over the course of historically short period of the formation of sovereign state of Kazakhstan, the country has been constantly transforming, overcoming incredible difficulties, natural and artificial, contradictions on the of creating new economy aimed at post-industrial society,” said the official.
According to the official, introduction of quick and decisive reforms allowed to create actually functioning market economy, implement a number of successful amendments of the institutional character.
“Modern Kazakh economic model is assessed a quite successful by many experts,” the official said.
He further noted that positive results were provided by reforms in public administration, pension provision, financial system, housing and communal area.
“Kazakh economy has entered the trajectory of sustainable economic growth, which is characterized by high pace and has not been interrupted since 2018. Kazakhstan precedes other CIS countries by a number of factors, but is also leading by some of them (value of foreign investments, GDP growth ratio),” the official said.
Concluding the mentioned above, the representative noted that Kazakhstan is on its own way of development and is in the process of implementation of its own economic policy, but it is also open to and is ready for introduction of best international practices in this area.
