The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Abdol Nasser Hemmati described the control of liquidity as one of the central bank's main policies and said that by managing this issue, inflation will also be controlled and living conditions will be improved.

"Despite the extreme pressure of the enemies, through the efforts of the Central Bank, we've received relative stability in the foreign exchange market,” Hemmati said, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

Referring to the importance of improving the livelihood of the people, especially those with low incomes, and improving the business environment, Hemmati said that because of US sanctions, the country's foreign exchange resources need management.

“Appropriate decisions should be made on the country's limited foreign exchange resources,” said Hemmati.

Referring to the return of export-earned currency to the economic cycle of the country, he said that the important tool of foreign trade of the country is non-oil export.
