Uzbekistan Railways introduced a 50 percent discount from the tariff to the cost of a reserved seat for interstate trains from Russia to Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
Moreover, discounts from 20 to 60 percent for a number of domestic destinations have been introduced as well.
In particular, discounts are provided for Tashkent-Andijan-Tashkent trains: in case of purchasing a ticket from 2 to 5 days before the train leaves, a 20 percent discount can be obtained; subject to the purchase of a ticket from 6 to 45 days before the departure of the train - 60 percent.
For the “Tashkent - Shakhrisabz - Tashkent” train for all categories of railcars, a discount of 50 percent was introduced subject to the purchase of a ticket from 2 to 5 days before the departure of the train and 60 percent subject to the purchase of a ticket from 6 to 45 days before the departure of the train.
The discount will be 30 percent of the tariff to the cost of a reserved seat for all types of railcars from Uzbekistan in the direction of Russia and Kazakhstan for all passenger trains of interstate communication.
Earlier, discounts on interstate trains were provided only in one direction - from Uzbekistan to Russia. Now discounted tickets can be purchased in Russia as well.
