Reserve funds of Kazakhstan increase

As at the end of October 2019, the reserve funds of Kazakhstan stood at 7.058 trillion tenge ($18.2 billion), which is 8.1 percent more that in September and 6.1 percent more than at the beginning of the year, Trend reports with reference to the data of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

“The narrow reserve money equaled 5.501 trillion tenge ($14.2 billion) with an increase of 4.9 percent since September and decrease of 8.2 percent since the beginning of the year,” the report said.

“In turn, the value of currency in circulation stood at 2.231 trillion tenge ($5.7 billion), which is a decrease by 0.1 percent since September and a decrease by 1.3 percent since the beginning of the year,” the statement said.

M1 money aggregate increase by 2.4 percent since September and amounted to 5.703 trillion tenge ($14.7 billion), while M2 money aggregate increased by 2.7 percent in a month and equaled 15.612 trillion tenge ($40.3 billion).

“The broad money value amounted to 21.008 trillion tenge ($54.2 billion), which is 3.3 percent more than in September and 0.9 percent more than in the beginning of the year,” the report said.
