By Matanat Nasibova - Trend:

From January through October 2019, Azerbaijan’s Ganja Instrumentation Factory produced goods worth 11.4 million manat ($6.7 million), a source at the factory told Trend.

At the same time, the main volume of production was exported, according to the source.

“This year, the factory’s products were exported to Georgia, Kazakhstan and Russia,” the source noted. “The biggest export accounted for water meters and gas control points, due to the highest demand for these types of industrial products. Next year, the company outlined exports to the Turkmen market.”

In this direction, negotiations are underway with potential partners in the Central Asian market, the source said.

The factory produces water meters, gas pressure regulators, gas control points, LED lamps, while water meters and gas control points are in the greatest demand.

The factory is one of the biggest in the country in the field of machine engineering and is engaged in the development and production of measuring instruments, automatic and automated control systems.

The factory’s activities are aimed at developing and raising the level of instrument-making in Azerbaijan.
