From January through October 2019, legal entities and individuals in Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with partners from 190 countries, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.
In particular, products were exported to 117 countries and goods from 180 countries were imported.
Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover from January through October 2019 amounted to $27.4 billion (taking into account the statistical value of crude oil and natural gas exported by the customs authorities, but the customs clearance of which wasn’t fully completed), including exports worth over $15.9 billion and imports worth over $11.4 billion. As a result, the trade surplus was over $4.5 billion.
Compared to the period from January through October 2018, foreign trade turnover in terms of actual prices increased by 3.4 percent, in real terms - by 1.3 percent, including import - by 2.8 percent and export - by 0.5 percent.
During this period, non-oil products worth over $1.5 billion were exported from Azerbaijan, which is 16.5 percent more in terms of actual prices than in the same period last year, and by 11.3 percent more in real terms.
