The volume of goods and services produced and rendered by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan’s Baku city amounted to 36 billion manat ($21 billion) from January through November 2019, Trend reports referring to the Baku City Statistics Department.
Some 80.5 percent of industrial products account for the mining industry.
Share of processing in the total industrial production amounted to 17.5 percent, share of electric power industry, as well as gas and steam production – 1.4 percent, share of water supply, treatment and wastewater - 0.6 percent.
The share of the private sector in industrial production amounted to 83.8 percent.
The share of industrial products amounted to 88.7 percent, while industrial services – 11.3 percent in the total volume of production.
Most of the manufactured products were supplied to consumers. As of December 1, 2019, the stocks of finished products in the warehouses of industrial enterprises reached 212.7 million manat ($125.4 million), taking into account the reserves created in the previous periods.
There are other products worth 72.6 million manat ($42.8 million) purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale in the warehouses of industrial enterprises.
