A subsidiary company of Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas National Company - Oil Services Company – has signed a log-term agreement for supply of specialized equipment, Trend reports with reference to KazMunayGas (KMG).
The agreement was signed with Petropavlovsk Plant of Heavy Machine Building (PZTM).
Support of Kazakh manufacturers, as well as an increase of local content in procurement is a priority for KMG, the company said. Thus, in accordance to the agreement, PZTM will supply Oil Services Company with specialized equipment for wells maintenance.
“The document was signed within the framework of the Purchasing Category Strategy, approved by the Samruk Kazyna. The strategy is aimed at local manufacturers support, including PZTM itself. One of the approaches of the strategy is strategic agreements signing with Kazakh ventures,” the company said.
PZTM is one of Kazakhstan’s leading machine building ventures concerned with manufacturing of equipment for oil and gas producing, processing, petrochemical, industries and so on.
Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas National Company is country’s operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state interests in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan.
