Azerbaijan’s Gabala Canning Plant, a big manufacturer of fruit and vegetable-based canned products, plans to increase export volumes of juices, a source in the plant told Trend.
In 2020 an export volume of pomegranate juices will be increased because of the products' being in highest demand, the source said.
“Presently, a lot of orders come from Russia, and also Europe. Fruit juices under Jala brand are the most wanted. This year it’s planned to increase export volumes of this brand juices to France. Along with the juices, also fruit purees, and nectars," the source said.
The plant intends to bring the export volumes up to 20 percent in 2020 against some 10-12 percent in the past year.
"The prices for juices in the domestic market range from 1.80 manat through 2 manat, and the export value is slightly higher," the source added.
The products of Gabala Canning Factory have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
The plant uses the German, Turkish and Swiss equipment.
