Iran reveals revenues from its mining industry sector in general

Iran's mining and mining industry sector accounted for about 25 percent of the country's total exports in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2019 - March 20, 2020), said Daroush Esmaeili, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, Trend reports citing Ministry.

According to Esmaeili, it is planned to increase production in the mining industry by about 25 percent in the current Iranian year (starting from March 20, 2020) and this will have a positive effect on the growth of exports.

Esmaeili added that over the past four years, sales of steel and iron ore on the stock exchange increased by 1480 percent, ie 15 times.

The deputy minister said that last year, the sale value of Iran's Mobarakeh Steel Company was 234.7 trillion rials (about $5.58 billion). The company's net income was 122.3 trillion rials (about $2.91 billion).

Esmaeili said that the sale value of Esfahan Steel Company was 72 trillion rials (about $1.71 billion). The company's net income was 7.45 trillion rials (about $177 million).

According to the deputy minister, the sale of Khouzestan Steel Company was also worth 113 trillion rials (about $2.69 billion). The company's net income was 31.5 trillion rials (about $751 million).

Last year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), Iran exported 133.9 million tons of products worth $41.3 billion.
