Cargo turnover in Kazakhstan amounted to 182.2 billion ton-kilometers over the period from Jan. through Apr. 2020, which is 2.3 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
The passenger traffic amounted to 67.7 billion passenger kilometers, which is 25.9 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Physical volume index in country’s transport sector amounted to 88.9 percent over the period from Jan. through Apr. 2020.
Kazakhstan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $21 billion in 1Q2020, which is 2.7 percent more compared to 1Q2019. This includes export worth $13.9 billion (increase by 4.2 percent), and import worth $7.09 billion (drop by 0.1 percent).
Kazakhstan’s retail turnover amounted to 2.7 trillion tenge ($6.8 billion) over first four months of 2020, which is 11.8 percent less than during the same period of 2019.
Kazakhstan’s wholesale trade turnover was 6.2 trillion tenge ($14.8 billion) over first four months of 2020, which is 6.8 percent less than during the same period of 2019.
The value of investments into fixed capital of Kazakhstan amounted to 3.02 trillion tenge ($7.1 billion) over first four months of 2020, which is 0.9 percent more than during the same period of 2019.
The overall agricultural, forestry and fishery output in Kazakhstan amounted to 701.6 billion tenge ($1.6 billion) over the period from Jan. till Apr. 2020, which is 2.2 percent more than during the same period of 2019.
Construction work and services implemented over first four months of 2020 amounted to 666.1 billion tenge ($1.5 billion), which is 5.5 percent more than during the same period of 2019.
