Uzbekistan to create joint project institute with South Korean company

South Korean company Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co Ltd will join one of the project institutes in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the State Asset Management Agency.

This information was announced during a recent video conference of South Korean company’s administration with representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek Embassy in South Korea, the message said.

Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co Ltd was provided with detailed information on the government’s procedures for selling state assets at public auction.

The Korean side informed about its readiness to continue talks on possibility of acquiring a state share in one of the project institutes of Uzbekistan.

Preliminary terms of joint plan on creation of project institute with participation of Korean side were discussed.

The sides agreed on a tentative deadline for the completion of this project and agreed to accelerate the necessary procedures to achieve a mutually beneficial solution by October 2020.

Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co Ltd provides construction and engineering services in South Korea and internationally. It deals with various projects, including housing and apartments, commercial complex buildings, shopping centers, sports centers, hospitals, highways, roads, subways, high-speed railroads, waterworks, and plants.

Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co. was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Yongin City, South Korea.
