A total of six smaller industrial parks will be commissioned in the Almaty Industrial Zone in Kazakhstan in 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.

Currently, the contractors are concluding engineering and design work and are planning to begin the construction soon. The overall industrial area of the parks will be 28,000 square meters, where about 70 industrial ventures will be set up.

Production facilities will be provided to small and medium business on preferential terms at a fixed rental rate for a period of 5-7 years, regardless of devaluation risks.

This year, the launch of 10 projects is planned on the territory of industrial parks. The active construction is underway with the overall value of investments of 30.5 billion tenge ($76.4 million). The project’s implementation is expected to create 1,140 jobs.

Thirty-six more projects worth 159.5 billion tenge ($399.7 million) to be launched after 2021 will create 5,540 jobs.
