Products worth $5 million were exported from the Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari Province (southwestern Iran) during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 20-May 20, 2020), Chairman of Industry, Mine & Trade Organization of Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari Province Siyavash Nazari said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
According to Nazari, the exported products were mainly ceramics, household items, metal and rubber products, fish feed, agricultural products and agricultural machinery and etc.
Nazari added that the products were mainly exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Turkey, Romania, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Kuwait.
The official said that the value of the province's exports were planned at $50 million last year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020). However, this figure reached $90 million.
"It is expected that the export value of Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari Province will double this Iranian year (began March 20, 2020)," he said.
