Iran's crude steel production increased and steel production decreased in the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 20-May 20, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Iran's Steel Producers Association.
According to the report, 4.69 million tons of crude steel were produced in the first two months, which is an increase of 4 percent.
“The production of steel products amounted to 3.44 million tons in the first two months, or 2 percent lower as compared to the same period last year,” the report said.
