Iran discloses value of goods exported from Sistan-Baluchestan Province to Pakistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22

The goods worth $49 million were exported through the customs and border markets of Iran’s south-eastern Sistan-Baluchestan province to Pakistan from March 20 through May 20, Mahmoud Reza Rahmatian, head of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the province said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.

“About 21 percent of the export of goods in terms of value accounted for Pakistan,” head of the organization added. “The goods worth $12.2 million were exported through the customs of the province while the goods worth $37 million through the border markets.”

“The building materials (cement), gas, sulfur, dates and ceramics were mainly exported to Pakistan over the past two months,” Rahmatian added.

The goods worth $235 million were exported through the customs and border markets of Sistan-Baluchestan province to other countries from March 20 through May 20 of this Iranian year.
