Volume of loaded, unloaded cargo at Iran’s Qeshm port announced

A total of 449,700 tons of products were loaded and unloaded at the Qeshm port of Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).

“About 225,800 tons of products were loaded and 223,900 tons were unloaded at the port in the 3 months,” the report noted.

During this period, 6,990 tons of products were exported and 1.090 tons of products were imported via Qeshm port, according to the report.

“As many as 213,200 tons of products were loaded and 222,300 tons were unloaded at the port for cabotage within 3 months,” the report said.

During 3 months, 500 tons of products were unloaded for transshipment, the report added.

“More than 5,560 tons were loaded for other purposes,” the report said.

In total, 5.45 million tons of products were loaded and 4.2 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports.

About 4.29 million tons of products were exported through Iranian ports in three months. During this period, 2.27 million tons of products were imported through Iranian ports.
