Uzbek electrical equipment manufacturer expand its exports

Uzbek manufacturer of home appliances Artel has signed an agreement with the moldovanian Euroterm chain of stores, Trend reports with reference to the Artel company

Some 1,664 household appliances worth $132,790 were shipped to Moldova from May through July 2020. Exported goods included air conditioners, microwave ovens and vacuum cleaners.

In the near future, Euroterm plans to export its products to Romania and Bulgaria, which opens new prospects for the development of partnership with Artel.

The main objects of Euroterm's activity are production of electrical household appliances, sanitary goods, autonomous heating systems, water supply and gas supply. The contract worth $1 million was signed in February 2020.

Euroterm has contractual relations with about 200 permanent dealers all over the country. In addition, Artel home appliances will now be sold in Moldova along with brands such as Kaiser (Germany), Midea (China), Simfer (Turkey), Maestro (Ukraine), Tesy (Bulgaria) and Walser (OEM).

Artel's main goal is to increase its export volume during 2020. Currently, Artel products are being exported to Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, as well as to Kazakhstan. In 2019, products worth over $20 million were exported to Kazakhstan.

Earlier, Uzbek manufacturer has signed an agreement with the Kazakh Sulpak chain of stores. The total value of the deal is $30 million for a period of three years.
