Pellet production of large Iranian companies grows

The pellet production of large Iranian companies increased by 5 percent during the first 4 months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

According to the report, during the reporting period, the large Iranian companies produced more than 9.9 million tons of products. This figure amounted to more than 9.4 million tons in the same period last Iranian year.

Larges Iranian companies producing pellet are Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company (MIDHCO), Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, Opal Parsian Sangan Industrial and Mining Company, Sanabad Mine and Industrial Development Company, Sangan Mining Industries Company, and Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development Company.

According to the report, the Golgohar Company has produced more than 4.15 million tons of pellets, MIDCHO more than 2.24 million tons, Chadormalu Company more than 1.19 million tons.

“Also, the Opal Parsian Sangan Company has produced more than 954,000 tons of pellets, Sanabad Company more than 343,000 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company more than 844,000 tons and Sabanour Company more than 164,000 tons,” the report said.

The production of these companies was planned to exceed 10.4 million tons over 4 months. The plan is 95 percent fulfilled, the report added.

According to the report, seven major Iranian companies have produced more than 2.4 million tons of pellets in the fourth month of the current Iranian year (June 21-July 21, 2020). The production increased by 11 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year. Thus, more than 2.18 million tons of pellets were produced in the same month of the last Iranian year.

“Within 4 months, 7 companies sent more than 5.64 million tons of pellets to related companies. This is an increase of 8 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (more than 5.21 million tons),” the report noted.
