Georgia reveals data on total volume of exports to Turkmenistan for several years

Georgia exported various products to Turkmenistan for a total of $740,600 from January through August 2020, the Ministry of environment and agriculture of Georgia told Trend.
Meanwhile, for the same period last year, the number of exports from Georgia to Turkmenistan amounted to $ 999,400, and for the whole of 2019 - more than $2 million.
According to the data, from January through August 2018, Georgia exported various products to Turkmenistan for a total of $593,400, and for the whole of 2018, the export amount was $982,500.
Data for 2017 shows exports from Georgia to Turkmenistan totaling $ 746,200 from January through August and more than $ 1.2 million for the entire year.
From January through August 2016, the number of exports from Georgia to Turkmenistan was equal to $1,3 million, and for the whole of 2016 – $1.5 million.
Also, the Ministry showed data for 2015, where the number of exports from January through August was $1.2 million, and for the whole year - $2.4 million.
In terms of the COVID-19 effect to export, the ministry noted that during COVID-19, Georgia has continued the working process with the usual regime in the agricultural sector, and this period has not affected the volumes of production in the country.
