Iran declares details of exports from Isfahan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 5

A total of 4.43 million tons of goods worth $1.37 billion were exported from Iran's Isfahan Province during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2020), Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office, Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

Over the reporting period, 1,140 types of goods were exported from Isfahan Province, according to Kuhestani.

The director general added that about $705 million worth of cast iron, iron, and steel products, $214 million worth of petrochemical products and $51.4 million worth of carpets were exported from Isfahan Province within 8 months.

"Furthermore, about $41.5 million worth of dairy products and $34.3 million worth of organic chemicals were also exported from Isfahan Province in eight months," he said.

Kuhestani emphasized that the goods of Isfahan Province were exported to 85 countries, mainly Iraq (worth $347 million), China (worth $217 million), the UAE (worth $198 million), Afghanistan (worth $156 million) and Indonesia (worth $65 million).
