Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan amounted to 803,000 tons worth $414 million during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI).
According to the statistics, Iran exported 781,000 tons of goods worth about $396 million to Azerbaijan over the reporting period.
“Iran's exports to Azerbaijan increased by 22 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the statistics said.
Furthermore, Iran imported 22,400 tons of goods worth $18 million from Azerbaijan within 9 months, the statistics said. According to the statistics, the imports from Azerbaijan increased by 26 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
In general, Iran exported 85.2 million tons of goods worth $25 billion in the first nine months of the current Iranian year. Moreover, Iran imported 25 million tons of goods worth $26.8 billion in this period.
